The camp is designed to attract high school students interested in pursuing degrees in biology, biotechnology, and medical fields. Students will be exposed to a variety of different techniques related to DNA and proteins to gain an understanding of the structure and function of the molecules. In addition, students will gain knowledge of applications used in medicine and the biotechnology industry regarding how DNA and proteins can be used to diagnose and treat disease.
This is available to High School students enrolled in AP or Honors Biology, Chemistry, or Physics courses. This would include rising juniors and seniors at local high schools.
